People's Hospital of Fengyang County in Anhui Province

People's Hospital of Fengyang County is a comprehensive hospital with integrated functions, including medical treatment, teaching, research, disease prevention and rehabilitation. Since it is the new campus for the hospital, it is a modern one with multiple functions, including outpatient, emergency, inpatient and physical check-ups. It has been officially put into use since 2017. The campus covers an area of 153 Mu (102,000 square meters), with a floorage of 85,000 square meters and 1,008 beds. The total investment is around 400 million yuan.
When it comes to the design of the new hospital, the architects take local architectural features of Fengyang County into account. It is a "new Fengyang-style" architecture style derived from the characteristics of local traditional houses. Black clay bricks, wood and grey tiles are the most commonly used building materials in Fengyang. These materials in different colors constitute the overall color perception of Fengyang folk houses (grey walls and black tiles). The gables of local houses are usually made of large-sized clay bricks with a black-gray color tone, while the walls of the main facade are lighter. Therefore, the building's facade was decorated with dark gray Terracotta Panels from LOPO Terracotta, while the walls were covered with light beige cement slabs. The project is in perfect harmony with the surrounding residential buildings.
